Krysia D. Michna-Nowak B.A
Born of Polish parents in 1948 Nowak is one of the most respected contemporary artist’s in the U.K. noted in ‘Debrett’s’ and ‘Worlds who’s who of Women’ for her contribution to Art.
Influenced by Greek mythology, mystical tales, Polish culture, history and war, her paintings represent a broad spectrum of emotion and state of mind. Her work evokes feelings of romance, mystery and can be both calming and wild. Each piece is thought provoking reaching into the soul of the onlooker.
The rich colours and strong black Lines of her paintings are distinctive. Most start as a Mono-print and then are overlaid with Japanese Matt acrylic paint evolving into unique, mixed media works of Art.
All paintings are on paper, framed and under glass.
